That’s Walter Matras working in Kalman’s Produce Department, Late 1940’s
 
That’s Walter again on the right. In the center is John Rosick and at left is Leo Matras.
This photo was taken in Victoria (between Star Junction and Perryopolis). The truck was|
the Kalmans delivery truck.

Able-bodied men were required to register with the Selective Service (military draft) during
World War II. This is John Matras’s (grandfather of Larry Matras) registration card.
At age 54 he was not elegible for the draft. His three sons were elegible, however, and all three served.
One of them did not return.
