Robert C. Baughman of West Newton provided these photographs. They were taken at Washington's Mill, probably in 1895, and probably within minutes of each other. The man standing alone with his hat pushed back and leaning on a twisted cane in the center of the top photo is Robert's Great-Grandfather, David Stickel. He also appears in the bottom photo at the extreme lower-right corner with a little girl in front of him. The little girl is his daughter, Gertrude, who was born in 1890. It is by her apparent age that the photo has been dated to approximately 1895
